Brigitte Truong
Brigitte Truong has solidified herself as a go-to source in Canada for the latest in lifestyle and entertainment as a multimedia host, EPK and behind-the-scenes producer, and forward-thinking digital content creator.
Media Journey
Brigitte’s journey in entertainment began at the age of 4 when she discovered ‘Entertainment Tonight’ and the legendary hosting chops of Mary Hart. This syndicated show not only entertained her imaginative brain at the time, but it also helped her immigrant mother learn English. Who would’ve thought! Through their shared love of the show, Brigitte developed a keene fascination with people who lead with passion, the many forms of storytelling, and the art of interviewing. During college, she ignited her creative passion by volunteering and interning at Canadian networks like Bell Media and the CBC, landing her first daily hosting role at 19-years-old on ‘Daytime’ on Rogers TV.
In 2012, she became a regular on CHCH as the co-host of the weekly movie show ‘The Watchlist,’ marking the start of her career in entertainment hosting. Soon after, she transitioned to full-time freelance work; offering hosting, brand ambassadorship, producing, and content creation services through her company, B.TRU Media. Believing in a holistic approach to storytelling, Brigitte began a successful career behind the scenes as an EPK producer in 2013, capturing behind-the-scenes content for major films and shows filmed in Ontario. Recently, she joined IATSE 667 as one of Canada’s first On-Set Content Creators.

Throughout her career, Brigitte has had the privilege of interviewing some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Michelle Yeoh, Susan Sarandon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Alice Cooper, Sandra Oh, Drew Barrymore, Mae Martin, Christopher Plummer, Celine Song, Robert Pattinson, and Gladys Knight.
